Any leads on a reputable Brittany breeder that focuses on hunting lines? Feel free to PM me if you don’t want to share publicly. Also, thanks in advance for any info provided!

Reach out to these guys. A lot of the members are hard core hunters and field guys. Really good group.

I am not a Brittany guy, although I love them. I hunt with setters, but a Britt is a fantastic upland dog. I've never hunted over one, so please take that for what it is, but I might be able to add a helpful comment. For several years now I've watched a youtube hunting channel called "Northwest Wingshooters". The host is a local hunter from Idaho who hunts with Britts. He is on his second Brittany (that I'm aware of) from a breeder/trainer from Sunburst Kennels, in Idaho: https://www.sunburstbrittanys.com/gundog-training. The host, Rob, hunts mostly chukar, quail and huns, in vast areas of Idaho and eastern Wa. His dogs are very, very good hunters and pointers and make some of the most unbelievable retrieves I've ever seen. Check out Rob's videos. The most recent one also has the breeder accompanying him and hunting with several other britts. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9jZtpvo-JblIEplV1_z3BA

I came across this guy awhile back.

Particular interest as I do hunt pheasant just outside of LeGrande.

I had found Sunburst in my research too and they look to have some fantastic lines. The guy who I was doing research for didn’t want to travel to Idaho for a dog so they weren’t an option. I have been running GSP’s most of my life but may try a Britt from Sunburst next time around.
He did find a pup which he gets to pick up this weekend. Hopefully it works out well too.
Thanks to those that responded with info.
